Ron Burgess is a veteran business consultant with over thirty five-years of management experience; twenty-five as a business consultant. He specializes in marketing strategy and management, with an emphasis on marketing technology.
Mr. Burgess was educated at the University of Colorado where he received a B.A. in liberal arts and a B.S. from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business. He owned a retail company for ten years, growing it to seven stores before entering the consulting field. He was Director of Management Services for the country’s largest retail consulting firm before starting his own firm in 1989.
An avid computer junkie since his first Apple II in the early 80’s, Ron spent several years developing marketing and merchandising software for automated decision-making and customer relationship management. His first interest in the Internet began in 1995 where he came to realize the massive changes in marketing and PR it would bring. He founded RedFusion Media a website company with his son and wife in 1999. The firm has become one of the largest online marketing companies in the Inland Empire.
Today, Ron’s consulting practice Burgess Management Consulting, includes long-term relationships with non-profits, professional firms, industrial companies, the retail industry and agribusiness where he consults as “Chief Marketing Officer for hire.” Deep involvement with the Internet over the last decade and over the last three decades in marketing management gives Ron a unique perspective on how technology is changing marketing, development, and public relations.
